G. Michael Papaz, CLU®, ChFC®, CFP®, CFBS
For over 30 years, Michael has been providing his clients with comprehensive financial planning services. His practice specializes in wealth management, retirement planning, estate planning strategies, and business succession planning. He began his career as a financial representative with Northwestern Mutual in 1981. In 2001, he joined a general agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) to best serve the needs of his growing practice.
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a degree in Finance, Michael continued his education by earning the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation at the College of Financial Planners in Denver, CO. He also earned the professional designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS). Michael holds FINRA Series 7, 6, 63, 65 securities registrations, and life and health insurance licenses.
Michael’s commitment to his expertise, experience and integrity is seen through his continued membership in professional organizations including the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and the Certified Financial Planner® Board of Standards.
Throughout his career, Michael has dedicated his time and support to numerous charitable and community organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Rotary Club of Westborough. Michael is also a founding member of the Boroughs Branch of the YMCA of Central Massachusetts.
Michael and his wife, Jane, reside in Westborough, MA and have two daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys golf and spending time at their summer home in Kennebunkport, ME.
